Verious is the founder of Startempire Wire & the founder andCreative Director of Philoveracity Design, a firm that specializes in Brand Development with work that spans the scope of strategic planning to custom branded campaigns & clients that have included local & national start-ups to medium sized corporations. He is a BFA VisCom Graduate and has a thorough command of Conceptual Communication with a myriad of mediums. His current career focus is to build important new relationships while nurturing current connections.

Kathy Beglau

Social Media & Publicity Wrangler

Kathy has been working in Web development for over 20 years. She was introduced to WordPress several years ago and has been hooked ever since. Kathy currently manages multiple WordPress sites as part of her Marketing and Communications position in public education. She is active in the Inland Empire WordPress community and dreams of a world that is WCAG 2.0 AA compliant.

Joseph Dickson

Website Wrangler

Joseph strives to be an active contributor in our local WordPress community and spoke about WordPress Multisite at WordCamp Riverside in 2017. He has also volunteered at WordCamp Orange County in 2017 & 2018.  Joseph is a web developer in higher education at Pitzer College in Claremont CA.

Gregg Franklin

Gregg Franklin is a WordPress Developer and team member over at ServerPress LLC., the creators of DesktopServer. Loves to help in any way he can solving WordPress problems.

He also can be found co-facilitating the Inland Empire WordPress meetup group and loves to travel with his wife.

Josh Knapp

Joshua Knapp is the owner of Cybercove LLC, an IT Consulting and Service Company, and is an avid WordPress user and Developer.  Josh has written several plugins, including the Ngrok-Integration and Local-SSL Plugins for Desktop Server.

Josh has spoke at WordCamp Sacramento 2017, WordCamp Riverside 2017 in addition to helping organize WordCamp Riverside 2017 as the Sponsor Wrangler.  Josh is returning to the Organizing Team this year as the Speaker Wrangler.

Louis Lister

Louis started working with WordPress in 2014 when he took over management of a client’s website and almost immediately started to experience the benefits. Following that project Louis’ next project built a large WordPress website within a couple of days and was hooked.

Louis is located in Moreno Valley, CA. With a background in Front-end design and spends most of that time designing WordPress sites and web applications for his company Wonkasoft.

Cathie served on the volunteer team for WordCamp Riverside 2017 and is a self-taught WordPress developer and content creator.  Cathie manages two personal websites and is a co-organizer of the IEWP Workshops Meetup group.

Cathie is retired from corporate America and is a line dance instructor at local senior community centers in the Inland Empire area.

Peter Surowski

Peter is a web designer at Fullerton College and freelance web developer by day; By night, he’s a marathon runner, endurance cyclist, drummer, coffee and tea connoisseur, capoeirista and freelance journalist.

Talk to him about the weird ways mediated messages affect consumer psychology and he’ll be your BFF. He has a peculiarly strong interest in online journalism and higher ed digital marketing strategy.
